He Loves you: you are his child, and He is "The Way, The truth & The Life". I'm always under attack by the devil-he knows his time is short & knows The Bible better than most of us... & he knows he's going to be defeated. His job is to bring down as many as he can.  in response to secret life...   Hello: Read your story & it's very sad...there needs to be laws enforced for deadbeat dads. My name is Karen, live near Pittsburgh, PA, hubby & I=both disabled. I'm on www.freecharitycars.org, trying to get transportation...bus routes are getting cut here, can't get 2 hospitals, doctor's, grocery shopping...Let's make a pact to pray 4 each other. I've just started a petition on www.change.org. Many Pennsylvanians (like myself) are without a vehicle, disabled, low-income, down-trodden & needing help. Please take the time to sign, we need only 5 signatures to get to the top of the list, and only 100 signatures to make a change(for once in my life).

 in response to Need_yeshua...   I have been on another website: freecharitycars.org. It's non-profit & runs strictly on used, donated vehicles. These are then donated to those in need. My husband & I are both disabled & haven't has a vehicle in over 2 years. Can't get to dr. appts, hospital testing, bloodwork, grocery shopping. Bus routes are getting cut out, here in PA, and winters are especially hard. Applicants are so kind there. We vote for eachother daily & can transfer votes to those really in need. You should login & see all of the people really hurting. Brian Menzies, Founder & CEO started this organization in 1996, & since provided over 4500 low income people with vehicles. God truly works through this site. My name on the site is "Ratt". Please vote for me, & others, too..Peace, Love & Blessings to you & yours.

Thanks for all of your prayers....I truly believe in intercessory prayer. Although me kind, loving husband, Ralph & I are both disabled, we truly need a car, but cannot afford one on a low fixed-income. I've registered with www.freecharitycars.org, & I'm adding friends, voting for others in need, in return. "With God, all things are possible". Logon to that site & my username is Ratt. You don't have to be in need to vote for me. Our healing may or may not come. One half of my digestive system-I'll never get back-removed in surgery. Just have to live with the flareups (similar to Chron's). Dr. tells me not to lift more than 10 lbs, due to 1st issue & 3 repaired abdominal hernias. My husband is bi-polar & "schizo-affective", 6'5", & had attempted suicide 3 times. I'm staying with him-he needs my help. Can't get a ride to Dr's, grocery shopping, or even food banks, which would help so much. Pls pray that we get a car soon! May God Richly Bless You & Shalom, my friend.

55 yrs old, husband & myself-both disabled.We haven't had a car for over 2 years; getting really disgusted & depressed over this.I am abled to work part-time-any job,* have been searching on all sites every night; but can't lift over 10 lbs, due to internal medical issues. My husband is 100% disabled & he can't work-he-has no drivers license, since he takes too many mental health rxs & has sleep apnea. I'm able to work pt, but have been seeking a job, any job, no luck. With no vehicle & bus routes being cut out, We're in a catch22-can't get a car without a pt job(low income) & can't get a job with no car(I still have valid driver's license). Can't even get to dr. appts, grocery shopping, hostital tests, bloodwork, food pantries, etc. What to do????? I'm on freecharitycars.org, but no luck.

Thank you for your contributins to aidpage. So many people need help of different kinds, I am 55, disabled, as is my husband, Ralph, haven't had a car for 2 years, and desperately need one for Dr. appts, grocery shopping, hospital tests, bloodwork, etc.
I also found a website "freecharitycars.org" on this site.
I found many others, disabled also, in need of a vehicle, & will continue to vote/pray for them & add them on as friends. God Bless all of the contributers to this website.

"Research evidence suggests that having a car is a worthwhile investment in better outcomes for low-income families. Recent reports quantify the additional money required to own and operate personal vehicles, as compared to the lower cost of traveling on public transit. However, this method of accounting fails to consider the fact that poor workers without a car may not be able to search for or accept a better-paying job because public transit doesn't go there, causing these workers to lose lost income or benefits as a result. This report outlines opportunity costs experienced by transit-dependent poor households, and concludes that when all costs are considered along with benefits of private vehicles, it makes sense to press for more assistance and policies that reduce car ownership costs for poor workers."

Please, if anyone knows where I can get a used small sedan; husband & I are both disabled-55+; Just lost my PT job-10 HRS/WK $7.25/hr. Now need the little amt saved for a car(not much) to use for food. Limited income on SSDI-marriage penalty in PA-Make $5 too much to qualify for food stamps. Both of us woerked full time, until numerous health problems took over.

I'm a 55 (soon-to-be) bday 8/18/56; husband (Ralph) 100% disabled & me: disabled also. Numerous med problems-copd, divericulitis flareups, glaucoma, arthritis, both of us-income total under $2000/month.Desperately need car; can't afford one after cutting back on almost everything posible(bills) utilities. Have no credit cards-make $5 too much to qualify for food stamps. Both of us worked full-time all of our lives, & can't even get a donated car. No transportation-buses in our area are cutting routes constantly. I can't carry over 10lbs, due to digestive issues & 3 repaired abdominal hernias-just can't afford to go back to hospital again for hernia repair. Live in a "ghost town"-no grocery stores, no pharmacies, can't even get to a food pantry with no vehicle, let alone Dr. appts, bloodwork, etc. Never thought we'd end up this way-so young. Was 2 days away from foreclosure-filed bankruptcy (lawyer was kind enough to let us make payments in our situation) to hang onto small bungalow 2-bedroom house. If we CAN get a ride, person wants $5 to $10 for gas just to travel 5 to 7 miles. Just lost 10/hr. week min. wage job to help with food/saving for car. Now need the money for bills/food.
